JOB DESCRIPTION:

The purpose of the position is to provide leadership to our corporate stores as well as retail on financial control. The role will include providing general financial leadership, control, and reporting assistance to the Retail Operations team. This will include but is not limited to preparation of feasibilities and store valuations. The incumbent will report directly to the Senior Retail Operations Manager – Corporate.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analysing and accurately interpreting store performance statistics and benchmarks to identify root causes of poor financial performance and develop action plans to improve
• Ensure Corporate stores asset registers is correct and up to date
• Collecting, analysing, and interpreting Retail data including financial analysis
• Ensure that financial controls are implemented at store
• Compliance with statutory reporting requirements
• Preparation of monthly management accounts

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to analyse and interpret data
• Good interpersonal and people management skills
• A good track record of relationship building skills
• Valid Drivers License

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• 3-5 years’ experience in Retail Management
• BCOM Accounting/Financial Management
