Business Development Manager — Adcorp Vacancies 2022

We are looking for an entrepreneurial individual to effectively drive sales into the business as well as other wealth offerings through both retail and institutional channels and develop and retain strong working relationships with external financial planning practices and institutional investors in the Pretoria and surrounding areas.


  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to enhance your clients experience and drive sales
  • Maintain a CRM system
  • Develop strong relationships with corporate clients
  • Develop strong external relationships with financial advisers
  • Assist and drive marketing initiatives/campaigns
  • Achieve monthly sales targets
  • Promote and distribute predominantly securities solutions together with other wealth offerings (Asset management and asset consulting)
  • Assist the head of the division with strategic planning initiatives
  • Provide management reports to the head of the division
  • Cross sell company products and solutions


  • IFA distribution experience
  • Resourceful and pro-active
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the financial planning environment
  • A CFA or CFP qualification will be advantageous
  • A Bachelor of Commerce degree or equivalent
  • Will be expected to meet and exceed clients’ expectations
  • Professional
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills. Good Microsoft Word Skills.
  • Entrepreneurial
  • Extremely client/service orientated with high levels of business etiquette and communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritization abilities
  • Should be able to contribute positively to the strategic initiatives of the division
