DUTIES : Job Purpose: The incumbent of this post will report to the Chief Director Clinical Support Services and will be responsible to Manage and ensure the provisioning Forensic Pathology and Forensic Medicine Services in Kwa – Zulu Natal Department of Health. Ensure that enabling policy is developed in line with the national Health Legislative imperatives. Ensure that norms and standards are compiled in order to monitor and evaluate the performance of forensic pathology operations. Ascertain resource gaps and motivate for the development and acquisition of these to enable the rendering of an effective service. Ensure that processes are designed to protect the integrity of forensic evidence in support of legislative requirements. Provide Inspector of Anatomy Services in the Province.
