Website Ackermans
The Content Upload Co-ordinator will be responsible for working in the CMS to upload and remove marketing content onto the Ackermans Website in accordance with marketing promotions and work with the Development & Systems teams to execute website production testing and fixes, managing the process from start to end. The Content Upload Co-ordinator will also manage campaign keywords or phrases in search console to increase traffic to the Ackermans website.
Job Responsibilities
1. Website Content Upload & Removal
- Ensure website content is uploaded by means of completion of various Magento csv templates (Marketing & SEO) & removed according to deadlines
- Ensure website health is maintained & work with Development and Systems teams on production queries, testing and fixes.
- Manage quality control and marketing upload approvals with relevant teams/ stakeholders
- Implement banner creation in conjunction with Design Team
2. Management
Stakeholder management:
- Building and maintaining good working relationships with:
- Marketing team
- Merchandising teams
- Systems team
- PepkorIT
- Agencies
- Budget process management:
- Process invoices
- Complete monthly accruals
3. Ad hoc campaign/projects & administration
- Assist Digital Marketing & Online Commerce teams with ad hoc projects or administration tasks as needed
Job Requirements
Essential:
- National Diploma in Marketing or similar
Preferred:
- A qualification in SEO, information systems, web and mobile design or development
- Google Accredited Courses
Skills & Experience
KNOWLEDGE required:
- A working knowledge of HTML, CSS,JavaScript and Magento
- Knowledge of job ticketing system
- A working knowledge of Digital Media Mix and reporting metric will be advantages
- Knowledge of digital reporting and various analytical tools
- Knowledge of digital channels i.e. web, digital media, social media, USSD and App’s
- Knowledge of digital industry, trends, tools and techniques and the integration thereof
- Knowledge of online UX
- Knowledge of latest SEO and Digital marketing trends and best practises

Experience required:
Essential:
- A minimum of 1-2 years’ relevant digital experience gained in a Digital Marketing environment
- Experience working in Google Search Console
- Experience working in a CMS (Magento preferable)
- A working knowledge of SEO
- Experience using the latest MS packages (Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook)
Preferred:
- Experience gained in a Retail environment
- Experience working in online commerce
- Experience working in a PIM
