The Mpumalanga Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs invites qualified candidates to apply for the post of Assistant Director: Business Support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate investigations required by the Committee on leadership disputes and claims.
  • Processing all dispute correspondences & queries of the Mpumalanga Provincial House of Traditional Leadership.
  • Draft operational programme for the Committee on traditional leadership on disputes & claims.
  • Compile monthly & quarterly reports.

 Requirements:

  • A Senior Certificate and a National Diploma in Public Management/ Administration or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum 3 years’ experience in Finance / Expenditure Management.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in Traditional Leadership field.
  • Knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, Traditional and Khoi-San Leadership Act, Public Service Act and Public Service Regulations.
  • Computer literacy and a valid driver’s licence.
